Die Aloe myriacantha is 'n aalwyn wat voorkom in Burundi, Eswatini, Kenia, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Malawi, Mosambiek, Rwanda, Tanzanië, Uganda en Zimbabwe.
Die plant blom van Maart tot April in Suider-Afrika en later in Sentraal-Afrika. Die blomme is vuilpienk.

Die aalwyn is stamloos en alleenstaande met die blare wat 30 cm lank en 10 cm breed is. Daar is vlekke op die naby die basis van die blare en klein wit tandjies op die blaarrande. Die blomme is tweelippig amper soos Aloe albida. Die plant is nie rypbestand nie en groei vanaf seevlak tot op 600 m.
Die naam is afgelei van myri wat ontelbaar beteken en acantha wat doring of stekel beteken.
