肉食,又叫肉或者肉類,係嘢食一大類,指可以食用嘅動物身上,拎出來肉同埋內臟、骨頭等,尤其係禽、畜嘅肉。常見嘅肉有豬肉、牛肉、羊肉同雞肉。而蛋同海鮮通常唔會當做肉食。
肉類含蛋白質營養豐富,重有脂肪、維他命同礦物質。一般認為,飲食均衡嘅人都會食少少肉。
皆因人係雜食動物,遠古經已去打獵嚟攞肉食,之但係一啲人亦會因為宗教(譬如佛教)或者其他原因(譬如崇尚食齋文化)而唔食肉。
