මෙම රෝගය මුල්වරට චීනයේ වූහාන් නුවර දී හඳුනා ගත් අතර ඉන් අනතුරුව ලොව පුරා පැතිරගොස් 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic නමින් හැඳින්වෙන ගෝලීය වසංගතය බවට වර්ධනය විය.

සාමාන්‍ය රෝග ලක්ෂණ වනුයේ උණ (fever), කැස්ස (cough) සහ හුස්ම ගැනීමේ අපහසුව (shortness of breath) වේ. මස්පිඩු වේදනාව sputum production සහ sore throat ද විරල මුත් දැකිය හැකි රෝග ලක්ෂණ වේ. බොහෝ දෙනෙකුට මෘදු රෝග ලක්ෂණ දැකිය හැකි වුවත් සමහරෙක් හට severe නිව්මෝනියා (pneumonia) සහ multi-organ failure ඇතිවිය හැක. 2020 මාර්තු 20 වෙනිදා පැවති දත්ත වලට අනුව rate of deaths per number of diagnosed cases 4.1% කි. එසේම එය වයස සහ අනෙකුත් සෞඛ්‍ය තත්ත්ව සැලකිල්ලට ගැනීමේ දී 0.2% සිට 15% අතර විචලනය වේ.

රෝගය පුද්ගලයෙකුගෙන් පුද්ගලයෙකුට පැතිරෙන්නේ බොහෝවිට කහින විට ඇතිවන බිඳිති (respiratory droplets) හරහා ය. එසේම ආසාදිත ද්‍රව්‍යය ගෑවුන මතුපිටක් ඇල්ලීමෙන් පසුව මුහුණ ඇල්ලීම මගින් ද පැතිරීම සිදුවිය හැකි. වෛරසයට නිරාවරණය වීමේ සිට රෝග ලක්ෂණ දිස්වීම දක්වා සාමාන්‍යයෙන් දින දෙක (2) සිට දහහතර (14) දක්වා වන අතර සාමාන්‍යය දින පහක් (5) වේ. nasopharyngeal swab මගින් reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) භාවිතයෙන් රෝග විනිශ්චය කිරීම සාමාන්‍ය ක්‍රමවේදය වේ. එසේම රෝග ලක්ෂණ, risk factors සහ නිව්මෝනියා ලක්ෂණ පෙන්නුම් කරන chest CT scan යන එකතුව ආශ්‍රයෙන් ද රෝගය විනිශ්චය කළ හැක.

Ten cases, including one fatality recorded by the Australian government. ↑ Norway From 13 March 2020, testing of the normal population was discontinued, and is now only reserved for health professionals and acutely ill people in vulnerable groups. Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia.
