Kamchatka Krai (Roushie: Камча́тский край) is a federal subject o Roushie (a krai).
It wis formit on 1 Julie 2007, as a result o the merger o Kamchatka Oblast an Koryak Autonomous Okrug, efter a referendum wis held on the issue on 23 October 2005. The krai's admeenistrative center is the ceety o Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The okrug retains the status o a special admeenistrative diveesion o the krai unner the name o Koryak Okrug. Population: 322,079 (2010 Census).
