Baja California Peninsula: Peninsula of North America on the Pacific Coast of Mexico
The Baja California Peninsula (or Lower California) is a peninsula of North America.
It is west of Mexico. It extends some 1,250 km (775 miles) from Mexicali in the north to Cabo San Lucas in the south, separating the Pacific Ocean from the Gulf of California (or "Sea of Cortés").
