Avatar (Sanskrit: अवतार, avatāra; pronounced [ɐʋɐtaːrɐ]), Hindu dharam me Sanskrit sabd se aais hae isake matalb 'vanshaj' hois hae. Ii dhartii par ek shaktishaalee devata, devee ya aatma ke bhautik (physical) roop ya avataar ke prateek hae[1]. Jaise Bhagwan Ram, Vishnu je ke saatve avatar hae.
