Lactobacillus is a genus of bacteria. Most Lactobacillus species are non-spore-forming and ferment glucose into lactose. This genus also contains several bacteria that make up part of the natural flora of the human vagina. They are really helpful in the gut. It is a rod-shaped non-spore forming bacteria. It can be found in foods like yogurt.
