Juupajoki er ein kommune i landskapet Birkaland i Finland.
Kommunen har cirka 1 900 innbyggjarar og eit areal på 274,95 km² der 16,47 km² er vatn. Juupajoki er ein finskspråklig kommune som grensar til kommunane Jämsä, Mänttä-Vilppula, Orivesi og Ruovesi.

Juupajoki har fått sitt parallelle univers av den finske teikneserieteiknaren Tarmo Koivistos fiktive kommune Eipäjoki (der eipä på finsk tyder «neida» og juupa tyder «joda», og joki tyder «elv»). Hos Koivisto går handlinga føre seg i den fiktive kommunen Mämmilä, som har Koivistos heimstad Orivesi som modell. Og der Orivesi har nabokommunen Juupajoki har altså Mämmilä nabokommunen Eipäjoki.
