Khmer People: Ethnic group native to Cambodia

The Khmer people are 97% of the people of Cambodia.

They speak the Khmer language and most follow the Khmer style of Buddhism. There are over 15 million Khmers in Cambodia, and over a million Khmers in both Vietnam and Thailand.
