Ken Loach (born 1936) is a British movie director, producer and writer.
He was born in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. He has made many movies about working class life. His films include Cathy Come Home, Poor Cow, The Wind that Shakes the Barley, and Kes. He was educated at St Peter's College, Oxford.
