Mawlid
Mawlid (Arabic: مَولِد النَّبِي mawlidu n-nabiyyi, Birth o the Prophet, sometimes simply cried in colloquial Arabic مولد mawlid, mevlid, mevlit, mulud amang ither vernacular pronunciations; sometimes ميلاد mīlād) is the observance o the birthday o the Islamic prophet Muhammad which occurs on the 12t day o Rabi' al-awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar.
