Hachikō (ハチ公, November 10, 1923 – Mairch 8, 1935), kent in Japanese as chūken Hachikō (忠犬ハチ公 faithful dug Hachikō ), wis an Akita dug born on a fairm near the ceety o Ōdate, Akita Prefectur, remembered for his remarkable lyalty tae his ainer, even mony years efter his ainer's daith.
