Al Hillah (Arabic: الحلة), also spelled Hilla or Hillah (BGN: Al Ḩillah) is a ceety in central Iraq on the Hilla branch o the Euphrates River, 100 km (62 mi) sooth o Baghdad.

It is situatit in a predominantly agricultural region which is extensively irrigatit wi watter providit bi the Hilla canal, producin a wide range o cereals, fruit an textiles.
