Hugo Island er ei isolerte isdekt øy med fleire klipperike holmar og staurar aust for seg, utanfor vestsida av Den antarktiske halvøya, om 40 nautiske mil sørvest for Cape Monaco på Île Anvers.
Ho vart truleg oppdaga av C.J. Evensen, kaptein på «Peninsula» i 1893, fordi ei øy utan namn med liknande storleik og plassering første gong dukka opp på eit kart frå denne tida. Øya vart kartlagd av Den franske antarktisekspedisjonen, 1903–05, under Dr. J.B. Charcot, som namngav ho etter den franske forfattaren Victor Hugo, bestefar til den første kona til Charcot.
