團年飯係唐人文化習俗之一,喺過年前嘅一餐晚飯,江南、粵港澳地區稱為團年飯,星馬地區稱為團圓飯,華北地區普遍稱為年夜飯,閩南同臺灣稱為圍爐,目的係為咗一家人團聚,通常喺年卅晚或年廿九大除夕食。但係近代人生活忙碌,未必可以約到大家喺大除夕一齊,團年飯亦可以喺農曆新年之前任何一日,亦可以係晏晝飯。
團年飯嘅餸都係有意頭嘅,有雞有魚有肉,髮菜蠔豉意味發財好事。
團年飯可以喺屋企食,亦可以喺酒樓食,唔少食肆都會推出團年飯套餐。
以前尊重長輩,埋位要分長幼次序,等齊人先開飯,而家就冇咁多規矩。
