John Jeffries: New Zealand politician, civil servant and judge

Sir John Francis Jeffries Kt (28 March 1929 – 25 January 2019) was a New Zealand politician and judge.

He was a judge on the High Court from 1976 until his retirement in 1992. He was the 14th Deputy Mayor of Wellington City from 1971 to 1974. Jeffries was born in Wellington. He was a member of the Labour Party.
