앨범 설명
스파이스 걸스의 데뷔앨범. 11월에 발매됐음에도 불구하고, 그 해 영국에서 가장 많이 팔린 앨범 2위를 기록했다. 발매 첫주 1위로 등장했으며, 무려 15주동안 1위를 차지하였다 (연속은 아님). 첫 싱글 "Wannabe"가 전 세계 31개국 차트 1위라는 엄청난 기록을 세웠으며, 영국 뮤지션으로는 드물게 미국 빌보드 차트 정상도 차지했다. 이후에 발매된 3개의 싱글이 모두 UK 차트 1위에 오르는 기염을 토했다. 또한 전 세계에서는 2,800만장 이상 팔리면서 걸 그룹 역사상 가장 많이 팔린 앨범으로 기록되었다.
