Thomas L. Thompson

Thompson (ipinanganak noong Enero 7, 1939 sa Detroit, Michigan) ay isang Amerikano-Danish na iskolar ng Bibliya at teologo. Siya ay nagsilbing propesor teolohiya sa Universidad ng Copenhagen mula 1993 hanggang 2009. Siya ay kasalukuyang nakatira sa Denmark. Si Thompson ay bahagi ng eskwelang kilusang minimimalismong pambibliya na kilala bilang the Copenhagen School na isang pangkat ng mga iskolar na nagtataguyod na ang Bibliya ay hindi dapat maging sanggunian upang tukuyin ang kasaysayan ng Sinaunang Israel. Naniniwala rin silang ang "Israel" ay isang konseptong problematiko.
