Percy Sledge: American singer
Percy Sledge (November 25, 1940 – April 14, 2015) was an American R&B singer.
He was born in Leighton, Alabama. He was best known for his song "When a Man Loves a Woman".

Sledge died of liver cancer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, aged 74.
