Lebanese Arabic: Dialect of North Levantine Arabic
Lebanese Arabic (Arabic: عَرَبِيّ لُبْنَانِيّ) is a dialect of the Arabic language spoken in Lebanon.
It is also spoken among the Lebanese diaspora. It has different features and variations in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar that makes it different from other Arabic dialects.
Lebanese Arabic reflects Lebanon's diverse cultural influences, with elements from French, English, and other languages added into daily speech. While Modern Standard Arabic is used in formal contexts, Lebanese Arabic is the primary spoken language in Lebanon which shows the rich linguistic heritage of the country.
