Jacques Necker: Genevan minister resident in France, French statesman, and finance minister of Louis XVI (1732-1804)

Jacques Necker (IPA: ; 30 September 1732 – 9 April 1804) was a banker from Geneva who became a finance minister for Louis XVI.

He tried to make France's tax system better.
