Elfriede Jelinek: Austrian writer

Elfriede Jelinek (German: ; born 20 October 1946) is an Austrian playwright and novelist.

She won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2004. Jelinek was born in Mürzzuschlag, Styria, Austria.
