Amby Fogarty: Irish footballer (1933-2016)

Ambrose Gerald Amby Fogarty (11 September 1933 – 3 January 2016) was an Irish football player and manager.

He played as a midfielder from 1953 to 1975. He played for Bohemians, Glentoran, Sunderland, Hartlepool United, Cork Celtic, Cork Hibernian and the national team. He also managed Cork Hibernians, Cork Celtic, Drumcondra, Limerick and Athlone Town.

Fogarty was born in Dublin. He died on 3 January 2016 at the age of 82.
