Sarang balam adolah makanan kulek-kulek khas Minangkabau nan tabuek dari ubi jalar.
Makanan iko acok dijadian oleh-oleh bagi urang nan pulang bakunjuang dari Sumatera Barat. Sarang balam dikenal pulo jo namo grubi. Raso makanan iko manih dek dalam pambuatannyo manggunoan gulo saka.
Ubi jalar nan manjadi bahan sarang balam patamo-tamo dicuci barasiah kudian dipotong-potong sagadang lidi korek api. Asiangan salamo 15 minik. Lalu goreang jo minyak karambia nan alah dicampua jo gulo saka. Gorenag hingga kering. Sasudah itu, barulah dibantuak manyarupoi sarang burung balam. Untuak mambantuaknyo, dipakai cetakan takah ring nan baukuran sakitar 5 cm.
