Welcome! The aim of this project is to standardize and improve articles related to Tibet and the Tibet Autonomous Region.
This is a WikiProject, an area for focused collaboration among Wikipedians. New participants are welcome; please feel free to participate! |
It is also to establish missing articles related to Tibet including geography (Tibetan villages) as well as to improve and create missing articles relating to Tibetan culture and Tibetan Buddhism.
Please also visit Portal Asia.
See the draft version of List of basic Tibet topics for a list of articles which need to be created.

There is an ongoing drive to improve all of the articles in List of towns and villages in Tibet. One of our goals is to add and infobox and locator map for all 800 odd places and begin adding basic encyclopedic data and transliterations. This is the infobox for settlements in Tibet. Please add this and fill in the relevant data if you see an article on a town or village missing it.
