I will add information to the "Influences on individual opinion" section

I am planning on adding additional information to the "demographics", "education" and "ideology subsections". I will also add subsections for "income", "consensus messages from scientists", "economic factors", "personal witnessing", "social media" and "speak up against believed wrongdoings". In demographics I will add information such as women what policies women would be more likely to support, I will add that men are less likely to see that climate change is human caused, that men and women are both less likely to support environmental issues if the economy is bad. I will also add that older residents in western states are likely to support building of powerplants. --Sherlyn.balbin (talk) 19:46, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

@Sherlyn.balbin: For everyone's sake, be sure to provide a reliable source for each item of content that you submit. Please submit each item in a separate edit, and provide a specific edit comment. No huge additions all at once. Good luck! —RCraig09 (talk) 20:29, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

Discussion on first sentence of the lead

The first sentences of the lead used to be until yesterday: Public opinion on climate change is the aggregate of attitudes or beliefs held by a population concerning issues relating to "anthropogenic climate change, perceptions of climate change risks, concern about its seriousness, and thoughts on what, if anything, should be done to address it." It was probably not the best first sentence but I think it could contain some information that is worth keeping, maybe later in the lead or in a section on "definition"?
