It probably has to do with the presence of weird characters in the link. If anyone knows how to fix this, please do so. Thanks. —Frecklefoot 21:10, 28 Jan 2004 (UTC)
You might have once in a while noticed that in live concerts, one of the artists is hiding the left hand behind the back.
I first noticed this gesture in a live concert of Herbert Grönemeyer, when he was singing his song "Land unter". The whole stadium sang in.
Then, after two rounds on the stage, he held his left hand behind his back.
I was asking myself: why does he do this? I had no answer for this.
Later, I heard a concert of Lindsey Buckingham introducing Stevie Nicks, who, while they sang "Never Going Back Again" held her left hand behind her back. What does this mean, holding behind your hand in the back?
I do not understand this gesture. Can someone of you, please, help me to understand it? Thank you, whoever answers.

Like Alannah Myles, he must definitely be one of the most misspelt artists ever. almost 25,000 hits on google for "Linds*a*y B.", > 300,000 for "Linds*e*y B." -andy 80.129.74.95 21:27, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
My research points towards his full name being Lindsey Adams Buckingham, and being born on 3 October 1947, not 1949. Can someone comment further ?|

this page now has 3 different locations of birth (Palo Alto, CA, SF, CA and someplace in England), I don't know which are right but I noticed it, all 3 can't be right obviously. 66.210.118.194 (talk) 17:47, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Has Lindsey said this in interviews because I can't seem to find any information about it.
Now that the much more suitable guitarist infobox has been restored (after being vandalised back on March 1st) it would be great to see the audio caption field populated. According to the project guidelines this field is to be used for a 30 second sound byte that gives a sample of Buckingham's guitar style. Buckingham has a very unique guitar style and he is often underrated(or forgotten completely) for his guitar skills. I can think of many songs(both solo and Mac) that a nice audio rip could be taken from but my choices and someone else's choices could be completely different. Some audio sample consensus should be reached on what sound byte could be uploaded and placed in the empty field. I see the Mark Knopfler article has an audio sample and, being who the subject is, the sample is taken from his Sultans of Swing solo (an obvious choice). For the Buckingham article it won't be as easy. Any thoughts on which song should be sampled? 156.34.142.110 12:05, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes I think that would be a great example i have the track but i think think the on from the Elizabethan soundtrack is better i have both tracks/albums?
Regarding the new section that was added, "Controversy", I'm not sure it is necessary to have a whole section on this incident. Musicians cancel shows all the time, and many times because of equipment issues. I think the section should be removed and a brief mention placed in the section that talks about his album and tour. However, I'm not really unbiased because I am a fan so I won't remove it myself. Thoughts? --Spike Wilbury 20:11, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Uh, if Lindsay Buckingham came to my theater and had a prob with sound I would listen to him. It's about letting the artist do his deal, not letting the theater dictate to him. Of course he nuts, whaddya expect? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.113.193.200 (talk) 00:49, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
So glad you're honest enough to admit your biased and a fan of Lindsey. But I thought Wikipedia was for the 'people' of which I also am a fan but thought his being rude to the Lincoln venue and cancelling the day of the show after saying vulgarities and also that it was published on CNN kind of makes this an event which should be included. You don't think the mega-ego incident should be censored and that you're the one who should censor it? I disagree and am adding it again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jflins (talk • contribs) 5 August 2007
Major portions of this article have been lifted directly from the Lindsey Buckingham page on Fleetwood Mac's site. I haven't compared every paragraph, but many are word for word, while others have a just a word or two changed. I plan to research the history to determine the editors responsible, and if they're still active, I'll notify them on their talk pages. Meanwhile, I'm adding a template on a possible copyright violation. Allreet (talk) 03:11, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
Lindsey only used a Gibson Les Paul after joining Fleetwood Mac. I have changed the information: http://www.lindseybuckingham.com/about/equipment_display.asp?loc=guitars04.asp#content --BuddyOfHolly (talk) 02:40, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Since the discography in place in the article now (thanks to Fmfanuk!) is rather extensive, I wonder what folks think of breaking it out into its own article, like Fleetwood Mac discography, and trimming back the one here to a summary. --Spike Wilbury (talk) 13:40, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Lindsey Buckingham's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "billboard.com":
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 15:25, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
In Fleetwood Mac: Don't Stop, Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham both talk about Lindsey settling down and starting a family as being the best thing that ever happened to him. But there's no mention of it here. — OwenBlacker (he/him; Talk; please {{ping}} me in replies) 09:47, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
I think it's really a shame how this list is used in the very first paragraph of his page. It's a fine list and all, but I really don't think it's a very good defining piece of information about him. Happy to hear other's thoughts, but in case anyone agrees with me I'd like to just ask that it be moved to a different area of the page rather than being one of the first things we hear about him. 2600:4041:44BF:2500:5D46:2B60:D04:83C (talk) 18:56, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
