Zakir Naik: Indian Islamic preacher

Zakir Abdul Karim Naik (born 18 October 1965) is an Indian Islamic preacher, and the founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) and Chairperson of Peace TV Foundation.

He is also the founder of the Peace TV channel. His lectures are very influential, especially among the Muslims in the subcontinent. He was awarded the King Faisal International Prize in 2015. He fled from India in 2016. Naik currently resides in Malaysia, where he has secured the permanent resident status.
