Second Defenestration Of Prague: 1618 incident that triggered the Thirty Years' War

The Second defenestration of Prague happened on 23 May 1618, during the Bohemian Revolt.

Jaroslav Bořita of Martinice, Vilém Slavata of Chlum and Filip Fabricius were thrown out of a window of Prague Castle. It marks the beginning of the Thirty Years' War, and is a turning point in the history of Europe.
