Martina Navratilova (Czech: Martina Navrátilová; born Martina Subertová on October 18, 1956, in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech-American retired tennis player who has been World No.
1.
Navratilova is openly lesbian. She married Julia Lemigova in December 2014.
In February 2010, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The following month she had surgery to remove it.
