Martin Ritt: American film director

Martin Ritt (March 2, 1914 – December 8, 1990) was an American movie director and actor.

He worked in both movies and theater. He directed many movies including The Long, Hot Summer (1958), Norma Rae (1979) and Stanley & Iris (1990).
