Markus Persson: Swedish video game programmer and founder of Mojang

Markus Alexej Persson (born 1 June 1979), better known as Notch, is a Swedish game designer.

He is famous for creating the video game Minecraft. Persson started the company Mojang AB in 2009. On September 15, 2014, he announced that he would be leaving the company, and soon after he left.
