Manizales: Capital of the Colombian department of Caldas
Manizales is a city in Colombia.
It is the capital of Caldas Department. About 430,000 people live there. The city is known for the production of Colombian coffee and is near the volcano Nevado del Ruiz.
Manizales was founded on October 12, 1849.
