Kathleen Heddle: Canadian Olympic rower (1965–2021)

Kathleen Joan Heddle, OBC (November 27, 1965 – January 11, 2021) was a Canadian rower.

She won two gold medals at the 1992 Summer Olympics and 1996 Summer Olympics. Heddle also won a bronze medal in 1996. In 1997, Heddle was awarded the Order of British Columbia and was honored into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame. Heddle was born in Trail, British Columbia.

Heddle died on January 11, 2021 in Vancouver, British Columbia from breast cancer and lymphoma, aged 55.
