Politician Frank Edwards: American politician in Illinois (1950-2020)

Frank Edwards (September 16, 1950 – January 28, 2020) was an American Republican politician.

He was the Mayor of Springfield, Illinois from December 2010 through April 2011. He was appointed by the Springfield City Council on December 28, 2010, after the death of Mayor Tim Davlin.

Edwards was killed in an airplane crash in Sangamon County, Illinois on January 28, 2020 at the age of 69.
