Elmar Fischer: Roman Catholic bishop of Feldkirch, Austria

Elmar Fischer (6 October 1936 – 19 January 2022) was an Austrian Roman Catholic prelate.

Fischer was born in Innsbruck, Austria. He became a priest in 1961. He was bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Feldkirch from 2005 until his retirement in 2011.

Fischer died from COVID-19 on 19 January 2022 in Innsbruck, at the age of 85.
