Charanjit Singh: Indian field hockey player (1931–2022)

Charanjit Singh (3 February 1931 – 27 January 2022) was an Indian field hockey player.

Singh captained the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in the 1964 Summer Olympics at Tokyo, Japan. Singh was born in Himachal Pradesh (then Punjab, British India).

Singh died from a heart attack at his home in Una, Himachal Pradesh on 27 January 2022, at the age of 90.
