Jeweller Cartier: French jeweler

Société Cartier makes and sells jewellery and watches.

It was started in Paris, France in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier. The company is based in Paris.

Cartier has sold items to celebrities and royalty for many years. Edward VII said that Cartier is "the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers". For his coronation in 1902, Edward VII ordered 27 tiaras from Cartier. He chose Cartier as a main provider to the royal family in 1904.
