Burl Ives: American musician (1909–1995)
Burl Icle Ivanhoe Ives (June 14, 1909 - April 14, 1995) was an American actor and folk singer.
He was born in Hunt City, Illinois. He acted on stage and in many movies. He was a folk music singer. He died from mouth cancer in Anacortes, Washington.
