Bad Day at Black Rock is a 1955 American psychological thriller movie directed by John Sturges and based on the 1947 short story by Howard Breslin.
It stars Spencer Tracy, Robert Ryan, Anne Francis, Dean Jagger, Walter Brennan, Ernest Borgnine, Lee Marvin and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It was nominated for 3 Academy Awards in 1956.
