Avi Beker: Israeli writer, statesman, and professor

Avi Beker (3 May 1951 – 4 June 2015) was an Israeli writer, statesman, and academic.

Beker served as the Secretary General of the World Jewish Congress from 2001 to 2003. He was born in Tel Aviv.
