Jean Ritchie (Viper, Kentucky, 8 de dezembro de 1922 – Berea, Kentucky, 1 de junho de 2015) foi uma cantora-compositora norte-americana de folk, e tocadora de saltério dos Apalaches.
No início de dezembro de 2009, Ritchie foi hospitalizada depois de sofrer um acidente vascular cerebral que prejudicou sua capacidade de se comunicar. Ela viveu em Berea, Kentucky até sua morte em junho de 2015. Ela morreu em casa.
