Gulai ayam adolah masakan tradisional Indonesia nan tabuek dari ayam nan dimasak jo baragam pamasak, sarato bakuah cando kuah kari.
Asalinyo barasa dari Minangkabau (Sumatra Barat). Masakan ko dapek pulo dikategorikan sabagai karinyo Indonesia. Basamo jo gulai kambiang, gulai jinih ko tamasuak ragam gulai nan paliang dituju. Gulai ayam ko biasonyo banyak dijua di rumah makan atau kadai nasi.

Bahan-bahan untuak mambuek gulai ayam adolah ayam, kantang, santan, sarai, daun kunyik, daun salam, gulo, jo garam. Untuak bumbu aluihnyo yaitu lado merah, bawang merah, kunyik, langkueh, jo katumba. Sabalun dimasak, ayam dirameh jo aia asam kapeh. Siap tu bumbu aluih tadi ditumih sampai arum, masuakan sarai, daun salam jo daun limau. Masuakan ayam samo santan sambia dikacau. Sasudah tu masuakan kantang sampai kantang jo ayamnyo masak. Nan tarakhia tambahan gulo jo garam sambia dikicok saketek.
