This template is named 'Polish borders' yet it describes only the 20th century changes.
With Borders of Poland and Territorial changes of Poland articles, I suggest moving this template to Template:Polish borders (20th century) and creating a new template to reflect the larger scope articles or adding sections to cover pre-20th century events that shaped Polish borders.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 02:58, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

It wouldn’t be interesting to merge this template with the template about border changes of Germany? At least between the 19th and mainly 20th centuries, the border histories of these two countries are quite intertwined.
Anyway, I’ve just made a template that could serve as a base for the proposed merge (it’s at the right).--MaGioZal (talk) 06:08, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: Moved to Template:Territorial evolution of Poland – I agree that the template name was confusing, so I boldly moved it to the title matching its contents, and heading. I also moved Template:Territorial evolution of Germany, for the same reason. I'm also sorting up the transclusions. No such user (talk) 12:05, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
Template:Borders of Poland → Template:Polish borders – This name does not unify the naming of other border-related templates, e.g. Template:Borders of China, Template:Borders of Russia, etc. owennson(Meeting Room、Certificates) 08:38, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
