I think we should add an indication to the wild card teams (like the World Series article has) and change this:

And add this after the references list:
W Indicates a team that made the playoffs as a wild card team (rather than by winning a division).
In the list "Super Bowl record by team," I would petition for the "Kansas City Chiefs" to be updated to the "Dallas / Kansas City Texans / Chiefs". This would reflect the team's name and location from 1959-1963, including their 1962 AFL championship, in a manner consistent with the way other teams that have changed location and/or name are listed. To be specific, that means only names from the 1966 season onwards are reflected in the table. Jtrevor99 (talk) 02:16, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
the following statement regarding threepeats is inaccurate: > The New England Patriots won Super Bowls XLIX, LI, and LIII for three wins in five seasons. They also appeared in and lost Super Bowl LII to the Philadelphia Eagles following the 2017 season, giving them four Super Bowl appearances in five years and putting them one win away from three consecutive Super Bowl titles. Moreover, in the intervening year, were eliminated in the AFC Championship Game by the eventual Super Bowl 50 champion Denver Broncos. In total, then, the Patriots were three wins away from five consecutive Super Bowl appearances.
Specifically, the last sentence states that they were three wins away from 5 consecutive appearances in the Super Bowl. This is inaccurate, they were 1 win away from 5 consecutive appearances in the Super Bowl, and 3 wins away from 5 consecutive Super Bowl titles. 74.15.254.136 (talk) 13:15, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
In the table showing superbowl champions, I think it would be ideal to include which network was broadcasting the game. Broadcasters and their calls can improve how we remember games like these so their addition would be beneficial. Troykozun (talk) 17:52, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
If I understand the note, it says that only two original AFL teams have won the Super Bowl. However, both the Broncos and Patriots have won several Super Bowls. Am I missing something? 100.16.145.77 (talk) 23:30, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
On the list of Super Bowl teams, the year of appearance that was displayed is always listed as the year before. (Eg. the Bengals vs Rams game was in 2022, NOT 2021; and the Chiefs vs Eagles game was in 2023 NOT 2022!) 2601:5C5:4380:FD80:E4A9:8393:8883:D974 (talk) 16:50, 10 February 2024 (UTC)

Tampa Bay metadata for the "super bowl records by team" table has a "1" in the appearances sort metadata where it should be "2". Cheers.
Change: "01A-01W-17YA-17YW" To: "02A-01W-17YA-17YW" 2600:1700:45C:6010:C89E:7A06:9FF9:498D (talk) 18:22, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
A count of Super Bowl champions seems rather germane for a list of such champions, and yet, it appeared nowhere in the article prior to my addition a few hours ago. Another editor later deleted it without any explanation. Since I'm frankly surprised (what I thought to be) such an obvious addition is controversial, let's discuss it here. Under New York Jets it doesn't note their AFC championship appearances as it does the rest. Greatergoodspectator (talk) 19:46, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

I suggest we should put the Pittsburgh Steelers next to the Boston/New England Patriots for the list of the most super bowl championship. Even though they both have 6 this page's diagram/graph of Super Bowl Champions shows the Patriots ahead of the Steelers for the most Super Bowl titles. It is misleading because it deprives the fact that they are tied with the most Super bowls. And instead makes people think the Patriots in the diagram have more championships than the Steelers, while the truth is the Steelers are tied with them for the most Lombardi trophies. All I'm saying is make them equal to each other in the graph/diagram of Most Super Bowl Championships by putting the Steelers next to the New England Patriots so people won't be misguided and think the Patriots have more success than Pittsburgh, while the truth is they are both of equal claim for the most Super Bowl Championships in the graph. I'm not saying put the Steelers ahead of New England but alongside them. I know you people can do it and put enough effort into making things right on this page.2603:6010:F003:C725:9C0:A008:8C30:5AF8 (talk) 19:17, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
Not done: As the text above the table indicates, it is first sorted by number of wins, and then by number of apperances. PianoDan (talk) 17:51, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
