Addidas surely will remove photos of this specimen wearing their product and allow the Spanish sports wear company to take the flak for sponsoring him.

In 2023, Adidas has claimed that the BLM Global Network Fountation's yellow-stripe design is too similar to Adidas' logo and has filed an injunction to stop the group from using the logo.
This needs to be added to the IP Protection section of the page.

Under corporate criticism, I believe the partnership with Kanye West (whom had already been shown to be erratic and embracing extremist personalities) is also a criteria of criticism. He made antisemitic posts on social media, which led the leadership to realize the awkward situation they placed themselves by using far-right personalities in marketing. This is especially true knowing the founders association with the NSDAP and use of slave labor. The outcome of this is a storage of approximately 1.2B€ of unsold "Yeezy" product line. The most likely resolution is going to be accepting a loss and donating the product to non-profit organizations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.24.84.136 (talk) 22:54, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
The final paragraph has a link which is dead. Also,it claims that several Adidas executives are being investigated in the NCAA Basketball scandal, however in the Wiki article about the scandal, only one executive is named. Dead link should be removed and the name of the executive should be included.Willierembis (talk) 22:20, 23 December 2017 (UTC)

Please change their net income of 83.8 billion USD to 772 million USD. 83.8 billion USD is a bogus number. It's not possible to have net income exceeding their total revenue.
Please check for reference;
Even fortune 10 companies such as Walmart, Apple, Berkshire Hathaway do not have a net income reaching anywhere near 83 billion USD.
It's inaccurate information. Enesuzel (talk) 21:41, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

I wish to add Adidas to the category of: Category:Skateboard shoe companies. They sponsor a good deal of skaters and should be listed in this category. Arsenal FC needs to be added on the sponsorship list of other football clubs.
I am requesting to edit the setence below from

To

I just saw how the pronunciation suggestion here ("AH-dee-DAHS") leads to so many weird tries all around the non-German speaking world ^^
It's more like "uddy-dus" whereas "dus" should be pronounced as in "dust", and "uddy" just as in "buddy".
You shouldn't put an accent on any syllable, I guess, but I'm not linguistically educated, so it's just the opinion of a guy on the Interweb ;) Here's a good explanation (actual pronunciation is at 31 seconds) by a native German speaker. Here's my try. --Sebw89 (talk) 16:04, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

I would like to add the [why?]
tag at the end of the opening sentence of the Marketing in India subsection claiming that "India has been a very speculative market for Adidas." The rest of the paragraph does not convince a reader like me that Adidas faces unique challenges in India. Therefore, I believe clarification is necessary. Business was successful and the Dasslers were selling 200,000 pairs of shoes every year before World War II.[12] The Dassler factory, used for production of anti-tank weapons during the Second World War, was nearly destroyed in 1945 by US forces, but was spared when Adolf Dassler's wife convinced the GIs that the company and its employees were only interested in manufacturing sports shoes.

Business was successful and the Dasslers were selling 200,000 pairs of shoes every year before World War II.[12] Both Dassler brothers joined the NSDAP in May 1933 and became also members of the National Socialist Motor Corps. Furthermore, Adolf took the rank of Sportwart in the Hitler Youth from 1935 until the end of the war. During the war, the company was running the last sport shoe factory in the country and predominantly supplied the Wehrmacht with shoes. In 1943 the shoe production was forced to cease operations and the company’s facilities and workforce was used to manufacture anti-tank weapons. From 1942 to 1945 at least nine forced labourers were working at both sites of the company. The Dassler factory was nearly destroyed in 1945 by US forces, but was spared when Adolf Dassler's wife convinced the GIs that the company and its employees were only interested in manufacturing sports shoes.
I would suggest to add some background about the Dassler brothers and their factory during the years of Nazi rule in accordance with the German version of the wiki. Main sources are two books about the company and brothers, one is already in the bibliography by Barbara Smit; the other one is a recent publication in German (there is an English translation, but apparently not yet available as ebook https://books.google.de/books?id=3J6NtwEACAAJ&dq=Playing+the+Game:+The+History+of+Adidas&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjXhPqSqfzoAhWyy6YKHZnwBnIQ6AEIJzAA). Accordingly, a sentence in the following paragraph needed to be changed as well.

I noticed some unsourced promotion in and after the "Adilette" subsection. For example, "The model provides a contoured orthopedic rubber sole with synthetic upper, and was designed as an après-sport slide, but the adilette were quickly used everywhere out of the sporting world. Opting for a wide, over the foot strap rather than the design of flip flops, the adilette sandals provide a fresh style and a different level of comfort for the wearer." This information, and the following two subsections should be deleted as unsourced promotion. Sam at Megaputer (talk) 15:41, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

That is not an actual urban myth any actual human has ever "promulgated".
The actual urban myth is All Day I Dream about Sex. We have an article on the song about it. There are Snopes articles on it. There are discussions of it on each page in the archive to this article, where people reaffirm that—yeah—of course it's dumb and childish but it's also part of the company's legacy and belongs in the article.
I don't know which prude or corporate agent removed it but, no, there's already a consensus and of course it belongs in the article. The bawdlerized version is ridiculous and is sourced to the company's own website. No, company websites can provide sales figures and history but (does this really need explaining?) they are emphatically not reliable sources for the popular culture surrounding themselves. — LlywelynII 13:09, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
