Background
KRG Studios was established by Karthik Gowda and distributed more than 114 films. In the year 2020, KRG Studios reported another endeavour, KRG Connects (Movie Marketing Unit).
They ventured into film production with Rathnan Prapancha, a film starring Dhananjay and directed by Rohit Padaki. Following their success of Rathnan Prapancha on Amazon Prime Video, they produced Gurudev Hoysala, which was released on March 30, 2023, and was critically acclaimed.
Uttarakanda, is announced as the next production venture by KRG Studios. It is to be directed by Rohit Padaki with Dr.Shivarajkumar, Dhananjaya and Ramya as leads. It is one of the most anticipated Kannada cinema, since it marks the return of Sandalwood Queen Ramya. However Ramya opted out of the film due to unavailability of dates.
The Banner has also ventured into Tamil language films through collaborating with Acclaimed filmmaker Anjali Menon and Malayalam through collaboration with Friday Film House.
