Premise
A young politician tries to balance work and family life while she takes over as Governor of her state.

Production
It was announced in November 2023 that James L. Brooks was set to direct his first film in thirteen years, with 20th Century Studios set as the distributor. Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, Ayo Edebiri, Albert Brooks, Kumail Nanjiani and Spike Fearn set to star. In February 2024, Jack Lowden and Rebecca Hall joined the cast.
Filming began on February 1, 2024 in Rhode Island, with Brooks and the cast appearing at a press conference at the Rhode Island State House to announce production had begun. It will also shoot in Cleveland, Ohio.
