Der Sitz ist in Brüssel, amtierender Präsident ist der Italiener Michele Colaninno.
Der ACEM ist Gegenstück zum europäischen Automobilherstellerverband Association des Constructeurs Européens d’Automobiles (ACEA) bzw. zur Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) im Motorradrennsport.
