Ligamentum collaterale (lat.
für Seitenband) oder Kollateralband bezeichnet in der Anatomie ein Band, das seitlich ein Gelenk überbrückt und damit die Beweglichkeit des Gelenks in der Transversalebene einschränkt. Kollateralbänder sind an allen Gliedmaßengelenken mit Ausnahme des Schulter- und Hüftgelenks ausgebildet. Sie kommen stets paarig an der Innen- (lat. Ligamentum collaterale mediale; dt. Innenband) und Außenseite (lat. Ligamentum collaterale laterale; dt. Außenband) des Gelenks vor.
